Influencing Factors of New Energy Development in China: Based on ARDL Cointegration and Granger Causality Analysis

The development and competition of the new energy industry will become an important battlefield a round technological industrial competition. This study use annual data from 1990 to 2019 understand factors affecting in China by examining long-run causal relationship among proportion consumption, prices, carbon emissions, structure, economic growth, power generation multivariate model for China. findings indicate that long run, is positively linked with whereas prices emissions have negative significant impact on consumption. In short growth can promote However, this positive effect gradually formed unlikely happen soon. whether structure optimization consumption long- or short-run estimate not significant. Causality results suggest one-way Granger causality exists between each factor different lag orders, except structure. Re-examining price mechanism emission policy, maintaining stable GDP increasing installed capacity generation, improving conversion efficiency are vital ensuring development.
